Join us for Silent Prayers on Wednesday Evenings
Clergy and congregational members of Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill share silent prayer time together on Wednesday evenings, with ordinands and faculty members from Virginia Theological Seminary, and (increasingly) with some members: of other local churches. At a time of much need for prayer in our churches and in the world, especially in our ongoing prayers for world peace, we are responding to several requests to make this practice a weekly option for our parish(es) and the Seminary.
We meet in Zabriskie Chapel from 5:15pm-6:00pm. After June 24th we will take a break for the Summer and then begin again in September.
All are welcome to join us.

Praying with Scripture on Sundays
When we focus on one of the Sunday scripture passages, we may discover more of God’s message to us. You are invited to explore praying with scripture in the Octagon Room (next to the Oratory Chapel) at Immanuel Chapel following the 10:00am Holy Eucharist. Pick up a treat at coffee hour, bring your bulletin, and join us to meditate on one of the scripture passages for the day.
Our prayer time will conclude by 12:15 p.m.

Weekday Morning Prayer
All are invited to join Immanuel staff and clergy for Morning Prayer every weekday, Monday through Friday, at 10:00 a.m. in Zabriskie Chapel.
This quiet, contemplative service typically lasts thirty minutes and offers each worshipper a chance to lift a person, cause, or concern in prayer while learning about any saints the Church is commemorating.
