We ALL Count at Immanuel
- More than 460 worship services throughout 2019 with nearly 200 volunteers serving and supporting those services.
- Around six hundred active members and approximately one thousand who are on our rolls.
- Discipleship programs engage 350 or more in Education for Ministry (EFM), forums, Bible study, book groups and retreats, including at Shrine Mont.
- Hundreds at Immanuel are enriched by pastoral ministries, including Lay Eucharistic Visits. Pastoral care messengers also provide personal notes, cards and flowers, and caring concern to our homebound friends. They also ensure transportation and meals to aid ill or grieving members.
- Pumpkin Patch reaches its 26th year producing a wealth of resources since 2000.
- 250 Pumpkin Patch sales hours in 2019 represent a thousand and more volunteer hours of sellers, bakers, soup-makers, craft-makers, truck unloaders, bookkeepers, organizers and more.
- In 2018, Pumpkin Patch proceeds funded outreach ministries in our community, region and world – homelessness, education, health and refugees.
- Children, youth and teens enrich their knowledge, love and fellowship through our Christian formation programs.
- More than eighty enthusiastic participants at Senior Ministry and Goodwin House programs engage in social, spiritual, artistic, and other programs.
- Hundreds of hours from dedicated volunteers maintain and tend our buildings and beautify our gardens and grounds.
- Our International Anglican Congregation is growing in fellowship and outreach and nearing financial self-sufficiency.
- Our building is a gathering place and community center for Valley Drive Preschool, a Muslim congregation, a Dignity congregation, an AA chapter and the Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic.
- 62 Zabriskie Society members have planned a future, legacy gift to ensure Immanuel’s strong future.
