God challenges each of us to give generously of our time, talent and treasure, and people who come to Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill live out that principle in amazing ways. Opportunities to give of ourselves through outreach, fellowship, music and education abound within our parish.
Time is our most precious commodity. It is limited, but is a priceless gift we share with our family, Church, work and friends.
Talent is a spiritual gift from God. People who have found their gifts and talents, and readily share them, are a true blessing to our parish and community. As an active faith and service community, Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill comprises many outlets to share one's time and talents. What are your spiritual gifts? We invite you to explore your gifts and talents on our Spiritual Gifts page and experience the joy of sharing them in our Immanuel family.
Our service to others, our generosity and graciousness, are nothing less than the embodiment of the Divine Life active within us.
Treasure also comes from God. Being a faithful steward within the Immanuel family involves contributing some of God's gifts back to the worship, mission and ministries of Immanuel, as well as to outside charities and ministries that are close to your heart.
Giving of our time, talent and treasure is a spiritual undertaking. It is an opportunity to take a personal inventory of what we have been given and what we are called to give. By giving of our resources, we embody the Divine Life within us and answer God’s call “to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, to store up treasure as a good foundation for the future, so that we may take hold of that which is true life.” 1Timothy 6:17-19.
