I am pleased to introduce Simple Gifts, Immanuel’s periodic email message to inspire the spirit. The vestry and I are hopeful that you will read it and share your favorites with friends, family, and neighbors. Simple Gifts will draw on a number of our extended “family” from Immanuel and Virginia Theological Seminary as contributing writers. I know you will treasure their meditations. I am grateful to Danette (Dani) Kauffman for having the idea for this outreach and organizing this publication. It began during the pandemic, and we hope it will last long afterwards. Simple Gifts has its own, unique distribution list. The subscription links appear at the end of each issue of Simple Gifts. Your comments are always a welcome blessing. May Simple Gifts offer new ideas to support and sustain us on our pilgrim journey. |
